that could change if it had the same push that miracle gives the 1-2 league. just needs a dedicated mod to be the face of the revival & a dope spotlight battle or 2 to pique interest - either because the verses are fire or people think they can destroy whoever is in the match & want to prove it. there are many things that can be done to garner support for the league. just gotta have the drive to accomplish it.
Idk 1-2 works coz it’s low commitment - RW gets about 4 people showing per week and that’s cash prize - this would just be the same people battling over and over but more lines to read to vote on - activity peaks an wavers here after the festive period it might pick up enough for a LLL

don’t let the fact that it’s twitter make you dismiss it. i had my reservations too but speaking objectively, the competitive aspect & live-event style of battling is a higher caliber than what goes on here where it takes weeks for niggas to post 6-10 lines.
it’s not called the “twitter battle league” by the way lol. it’s called the Earn Respect Battle League, or ERBL.. MV’s battled there too, we were on the same card together.
besides, dudes like Danny Myers & A. Ward have battled in the same league so there’s definitely some clout behind the name.
i want to post some completed battles in the open mic for general feedback & so people can see what it’s like but i’d probably need to ask someone for permission first.
